Hey Reader,
December is here!
For many, this month is filled with holiday celebrations and reflection. But it’s also the season when our good habits often take a back seat.
We tell ourselves, "It’s the end of the year, so who cares about sticking to a diet or workout routine? Who has time to work on a new business idea? I’ll pick it up in January." (And if you’re from the Caribbean, maybe not until after carnival season!)
But that’s not you.
You know that come January 2nd, you’ll regret letting things slide. So, this year, you’re determined to finish strong. You can enjoy the holiday season and still make progress toward your goals.
Here’s how I suggest you do it:
1. Pick one thing to accomplish:
Choose something specific and realistic that you can complete before this year ends. It should have a direct impact, no matter how small, on your main goal.
Examples:
- Clearly define how you’ll become the best at serving your customers.
- Narrow down your options to one business idea to focus on.
- List three potential funding options for your business.
These topics have all been addressed in my previous newsletters and you can find those helpful tips here.
2. Take inventory of your activities:
Review everything you’re currently doing and decide which activities you can not 100% commit to. Drop them now so you can start 2025 fresh, focused, and full of energy. Delegate them if necessary, or stop doing them altogether.
Examples:
- If a certain project isn’t aligned with your goals, let it go.
- If you’re involved in too many side tasks, drop the ones that drain your time and energy.
- If you're in a role that doesn’t inspire you, make a plan to find a new job that aligns with your passions and goals.
By focusing on these two things, you’ll finish the year stronger and more accomplished than anyone in your circle, setting yourself up for a truly impactful 2025!
Successfully,
Rozanne
